Paper Plate Christmas Hats

Check out these adorable Christmas party hats! All you need is paint, a paper plate, and some pom-poms and/or cotton balls! To begin cut a large paper plate in half.

Paint each side the color you’d like your party hat to be – we chose red and green. Once the paint is dry, twist the plate to make a cone shape and staple it. This creates the “party hat” look. Now it’s time to decorate. Using glue, use pom-poms, glitter, pipe cleaners, beads, or other materials to decorate your hat. Want to make a Santa party hat? Paint the hat red, staple it into a cone shape and pull cotton balls into fluffy white strips, and glue them to the bottom and top of the hat.
