Simple, Low-Prep Paper Plate Turkey Craft

This activity is a super fun and easy fine motor art for Thanksgiving. To begin this craft, gather a few supplies. These supplies include a paper plate, paint, clothespin, construction paper, googly eyes, and pom-poms. Once your supplies are gathered, clip a pom-pom onto the clothespin and dip it into a fall-colored paint. Now, start dabbing the paint onto the paper plate. Do this over and over with all the desired colors.

Once the plate is painted to your student’s liking, add a brown circle at the bottom of the plate for the turkey's head, a Pilgrim’s hat if your students choose, googly eyes, a beak, and a wattle. Now your turkey is complete. Your students will love creating this beautiful turkey for Thanksgiving!

Bubble Warp or Cling Wrap  Printed Turkey 

I love using bubble wrap and cling wrap in our crafts. I made Cling wrap Fall tree just few days back! Make this easy turkey by using a Bubble wrap or Cling wrap! Painting this turkey craft with bubble wrap is one of my favorite projects for November!

Playdough Turkey Activity

Here’s a super easy and fun activity just in time for Thanksgiving! This playdough turkey activity is absolutely no prep, just some fine-motor fun!! All you need to get started is playdough, pipe cleaners, and googly eyes.

This craft activity is perfect for any preschool or early elementary classroom due to its fine motor practice opportunities. Students will create body and head shapes from playdough and then add on beaks and wattles. Finally, students can add googly eyes and pipe cleaner feathers to complete the craft. Firefighter Turkey (Turkey in Disguise)

You’ve probably of heard of the disguise a turkey activity that many students complete during the month of November. This is an adorable Thanksgiving craft for preschool, kindergarten, and homeschool students based on this engaging activity. 

Your students will enjoy disguising a turkey as a firefighter with this adorable craft. Start with a printed turkey template. Add a variety of fall leaves to the feathers of the turkey. These leaves represent the flames a firefighter encounters. Next, using construction paper, create a uniform, boots, an axe, and a water hose to add to the design. Complete the craft by gluing everything all the pieces to the turkey. The result will be an adorable, disguised turkey!

Pine cone Turkey Handprint Craft

This activity is a super fun and easy fine motor activity for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a beautiful time to take a stroll outside and find some pinecones, acorns, leaves etc. Use those things of nature to create a cute Turkey craft! I used a pine cone to create this sweet thanksgiving turkey craft!

Scrape Painting Turkey Art Project

Scrape painting is a super art process for color mixing! Students can create this super cool Turkey by using just red, yellow and orange paint and create some new range of colors in the process! Kids will enjoy scrapping the colors using a popsicle sticks t o create this amazing artwork for Thanksgiving. To recreate this scrape Turkey craft activity at home, all you need is paint, construction paper, Ziplock bag, googly eyes, red pom pom, popsicle stick and plain white cardstock paper paper!

First, students will need to grab a cardstock paper and cut out turkey feathers ( It can be a simple circle too!). Squirt paint of the edges of the feathers in any order. Put the cardstock in a ziplock bag carefully without smudging the paints. Now start the scarping process starting from top to bottom. Spread out the colors as much as can be to cover the white paper. Once done, carefully take the paper out of the ziplock bag and keep it to dry!

Apple Printed Turkey Craft

Apple painting is a super art project process for preschool and kindergarten students! Stamping of any sort is fun for little ones, so is thi sApple stamping Turkey art. Students will love to dip the apple slices in colors and create their own colorful turkey for thanksgiving. Thanksgiving Handprint Keepsake

Adorable Thanksgiving Handprint Art Keepsakes for young learners. These are a great way to begin the month of November and the discussion of the Thanksgiving holiday. Students can make keepsake placemats just in time for the big meal or use them as a fun holiday decoration. Thankful Tree Writing Craft

This engaging Thanksgiving writing craft for kids can be used to celebrate Thanksgiving in your classroom. We have created an adorable turkey craft tree that comes in a special ink-saver version. To get started, print leaves on fall-colored paper and have students write different things they are thankful for. 

Before writing on the leaves, make sure to help students brainstorm a list of ideas of things they are thankful for. This would be a great opportunity to create an anchor chart to use and add to throughout the month. This craft promotes writing, creativity, and fine motor skills.
