The cupcake liner craft is very easy and low prep winter craft for preschool and kindergarten students. Cupcake liners make great crafting material for winter crafts.

  • Cupcake liners
  • Blue construction paper
  • Google eyes
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Pom Pom
  • Clothspin

This arctic animal fox goes very well with these Arctic Animal Activities and Mittens Math and Literacy centers for January . This blog contains winter activity which promotes fine motor, sensory, counting, art, and other early education skills in toddlers, preschoolers and kindergartners. 

Direction to make arctic fox craft:

Grab a few cupcake liners( I used just 3 per fox craft)Take a blue construction as base for this activityFor Fox’s face, fold the cupcake liner into half and then again into half (Quarter fold)Paste it onto the paper to look like fox’s faceNext, use another cupcake liner and fold it into halfGlue it to look like the body of the foxGrab another cupcake liner and fold it into quarter and cut half of those to look like trianglesUse those to make ears, legs and tail.Put googly eyes, and pom pom for noseOnce the fox is complete, using a clothspin and pom pom dab white paint sporadically to look like snowflakes.That’s it!
