Scissors Cutting Practice with Fall Leaves-How to:

First, take an assortment of leaves and lay them out on a flat surface. Then, go through with your Sharpie and draw lines in different directions. Do some horizontal, some longitudinal, and throw in some zig zags and other line schemes for variety. Once completed, have your kids take their scissors and practice cutting along the black lines you drew. This saves your paper and gives the kids a chance to get in some solid practice with their cutting skills!

This fall art is  would make a great small group and early finisher activities. They would also be the perfect opportunity to bring in some older kids and have them help with the small groups by making sure supplies are ready and used properly.
